MUÑOZ PIZARRO, CARLOS:  Appointed for studies in the field of systematic botany, with special relations to native Chilean forage plants, chiefly at Harvard University; tenure, twelve months from September 1, 1938.

Born September 25, 1913, at Coquimbo, Chile.  Education:  School of Agronomy of the University of Chile, Agronomy Engineer, 1937.

Assistant in Agricultural Botany, 1935–37, Assistant Professor of Botany and Forestry, 1937–38, School of Agronomy of the University of Chile. Assistant, 1937–38, Experimental Orchard of the Department of Agriculture, Santiago.
