Boswell, Eleanore:  Appointed for the preparation of a history of the English stage during the period of the Restoration; tenure, twelve months from September 15, 1930.

Born August 4, 1897, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Education: Bryn Mawr College, A.B., 1921, M.A., 1923; University of London, Ph.D., 1930. Bryn Mawr European Fellowship at Bedford College, University of London, 1921–22; European Fellowship, American Association of University Women, 1929–30.

Teacher of English, Rosemary Hall, 1923–25; Executive Secretary, American Association of University Women, 1925–27.

Publications: “Edmond Ironside,” 1927. Articles in Modern Language Review, and Bulletin of the Institute for Historical Research.
