Napoles Gandara, Alfonso: Appointed for studies in differential geometry and harmonic analysis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; tenure, eighteen months from September 1, 1930.
Born October 14, 1897, in Morelos, Mexico. Education: National Preparatory School, 1911–15; College of Engineering, National University of Mexico, 1916–20.
Professor of Mathematics in secondary schools in Mexico City, 1920–29; Professor of Mathematics, 1929—, College of Engineering, National University of Mexico.
