Olson, Axel Ragnar:  Appointed to make a study of the material effects of high frequency electrical fields, chiefly at the University of Leipzig; tenure, twelve months from July 1, 1929.

Born February 6, 1889, at Helsingborg, Sweden. Education: University of Chicago, S. B., 1915; University of California, Ph. D., 1917 (University Fellow, 1915–17; Teaching Fellow, 1917). National Research Fellow, 1919–22.

Assistant Professor of Chemistry, 1922–26, Associate Professor, 1926—, University of California.

Publications: Articles in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Physical Review, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Nature, Proceedings of the Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine.
