PALL, GORDON: Appointed for the writing of a book on the arithmetical properties of quadratic forms; tenure, twelve months from September 15, 1940.

Born December 26, 1907, at Winnipeg, Canada.  Education:  University of Manitoba, B.A., 1926; University of Toronto, M.A., 1927; University of Chicago, Ph.D., 1929. National Research Council Fellow, California Institute of Technology and University of Chicago, 1929–31.

Lecturer in Mathematics, 1931–34, Assistant Professor, 1934—, McGill University.

Publications:  Articles in Journal of the London Mathematical Society, Quarterly Journal of Mathematics, Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, American Journal of Mathematics, Mathematische Zeitschrift, American Mathematical Monthly, Acta Mathematica, Duke Mathematical Journal, Annals of Mathematics.
