PARKS, GEORGE SUTTON: Appointed to make thermochemical studies upon organic compounds, in certain European laboratories; tenure, nine months from December 15, 1931.
Born January 7, 1894, at Tacoma, Washington. Education: University of Washington, B.S., 1915, M.S., 1916; University of California, Ph.D., 1919.
Instructor in Analytical Chemistry, 1919–20, California Institute of Technology; Instructor in Physical Chemistry, 1920–25, Assistant Professor, 1925–30, Associate Professor, 1930—, Stanford University.
Publications: Articles in Journal of the American Chemical Society, Science, Physiological Reviews, Journal of Physical Chemistry, Industrial and Engineering Chemistry.
