BIO

As published in the Foundation’s Report for 1933–34:

PETRINA, CARLOTTA:  Appointed for creative work in lithography, in France; tenure, six months from May 15, 1933. (Postponed to June 1, 1934.)

Born September 6, 1901, at Kingston, New York. Education:  Art Students League, 1919–21; Cooper Union, 1921–22.

Exhibited at Salon des Artistes Français, Salon National des Beaux Arts, Salon d’Automne, Architectural League, Pennsylvania Academy, Print Club of Philadelphia, Cleveland Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, College Art Association. Represented in Fifty Prints of the Year, and in the permanent collections of the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Museum. Illustrator of Norman Doulas’ South Wind for the Limited Editions Club.
