PURDY, DONALD McLEAN:  Appointed for a study of European functional psychology; tenure, twelve months from July 10, 1936.

Born March 29, 1900, at Corning, New York. Education:  Cornell University, A.B., 1921; Harvard University, A.M., 1926, Ph.D., 1930. National Research Council Fellow, 1931–32.

Instructor in Physics, 1921–23, Princeton University; Assistant Professor of Psychology, 1929–34, University of Kansas; Assistant Professor of Psychology, 1934—, University of Maine.

Publications:  Articles in British Journal of Psychology, American Journal of Psychology, Psychological Review, Journal of General Psychology, Zeitschrift für Sinnesphysiologie, Psychologische Fortschung.  Contributor to Comparative Psychology, 1934; Psychology, 1935.
