Reukema, Lester E.: Appointed to make a theoretical and experimental study of electric discharge in gases at high frequencies and of the breakdown of solid insulating materials under a momentary high electric stress, principally with Professor W. O. Schumann at Munich, Germany; tenure, twelve months from July 1, 1928.
Born August 31, 1891, at Chicago, Illinois. Education: University of California, B.S., 1922, M.S., 1924, Ph.D., 1926.
Assistant in Electrical Engineering, 1923–24, Instructor, 1925–26, Assistant Professor, 1927—, University of California.
Publications: Articles in the Journal of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Experimenter.
