REYNOLDS, SAMUEL ROBERT MEANS:  Appointed for a study of the nature of the motility-stimulating action of oestrin upon uterine muscle, and the preparation of a monograph on the physiology of uterine musculature; tenure, three months from June 15, 1937, and eight months from January 1, 1938.

Born December 9, 1903, at Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. Education: Swarthmore College, A.B., 1927, M.A., 1928; University of Pennsylvania, Ph.D., 1931. University of Chicago, 1929; Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole, Summers, 1927, 1928, 1931. National Research Council Fellow, 1931–32.

Instructor in Physiology, 1932–33, Western Reserve University; Instructor in Physiology, 1933–34, Assistant Professor, 1934—, Long Island College of Medicine.
