TANNENBAUM, FRANK: Appointed for studies of the agrarian problems of Peru; tenure, twelve months from November 1, 1932.
Born December 4, 1893, in Austria. Education: Columbia University, B.A., 1921; Brookings Graduate School, Ph.D., 1928. Fellow of the Social Science Research Council, 1929.
Member of the Staff of the Brookings Institution, 1925–29.
Publications: The Labor Movement, 1921; Wall Shadows, 1922; Darker Phases of the South, 1924; The Mexican Agrarian Revolution, 1928. Articles in the Atlantic Monthly, Century, New Republic, Survey, The Annals, Dial. Member of the Survey Staff and contributor to the Brookings Institution report of the Puerto Rican Survey, Porto Rico and Its Problems, 1930.
