TESTA ARUESTE, ENRIQUE.  Appointed for comparative studies of the commercial law of the American Republics, in particular of the law of negotiable instruments; tenure, eight months from July 1, 1944.

Born July 2, 1916, Temuco, Chile. Education:  University of Chile, Licenciate in Law, 1940, Lawyer, 1941; University of Michigan, LL.M., 1944.

Assistant in commercial law, 1941—, Faculty of Law of the University of Chile; Research Fellow, 1943–45, University of Michigan Law School.

Publications:  Las Acciones Preferidas en las Sociedades Anónimas, 1940 (awarded the José Gabriel Ocampo Prize of the University of Chile); Informe en Derecho sobre Comercio Farmacéutico, 1943; El Derecho en Estados Unidos de Norte América, 1944. Articles in Mastil, Cultura Jurídica.
