THOMPSON, FAITH:  Appointed for studies in English constitutional  history, especially a study of the history of Magna Carta; tenure, twelve months from July 1, 1938.

Born October 9, 1893, at Minneapolis.  Education:  University of Minnesota, B.A., 1917, M.A., 1919, Ph.D., 1923.

Instructor in History, 1922–23, Wooster College; Instructor in History, 1923–27, Assistant Professor, 1927—, University of Minnesota.

Publications:  The First Century of the Magna Carta, 1925. Article in American Historical Review.
