TURNEY, ROBERT: Appointed for creative work in the field of the drama; tenure, twelve months from May 10, 1936.
Born February 17, 1900, at Nashville, Tennessee. Education: Columbia University, 1919–23; University of Toronto, 1923. Studies of the theatre in Europe, 1924–29.
Publications: Fiction and poetry in the North American Review, New York Times, Contemporary Verse.
