VILLA, JOSÉ GARCIA.  Appointed for creative writing in the field of poetry; tenure, twelve months from May 1, 1943.

Born August 5, 1908, Manila, Philippine Islands.  Education:  University of the Philippines, Associate in Arts, 1929; University of New Mexico, B.A., 1932; Columbia University, 1941–42.

Publications:  Footnote to Youth, 1933; Have Come, Am Here, 1942. Stories and poems in Scribner’s Magazine, Prairie Schooner, Frontier and Midland, Poetry.
