VIVAS, ELISEO: Appointed for the writing of a book on systematic philosophy, developing particularly a theory of value consonant with the implications of scientific method; tenure, twelve months from September 1, 1939.
Born July 13, 1901, in Colombia. Education: College of the City of New York, 1926; University of Wisconsin, B.Sc., 1928, Ph.D., 1935; Barnes Foundation, 1930.
