Carroll, John Wesley: Appointed for creative work in painting, in Europe; tenure, twelve months from November, 1927.

Born August 14, 1891, at Wichita, Kansas. Education: Mark Hopkins Institute of Art, 1903–06; California School of design, 1912–14; University of California, 1913–14.

Artist; Instructor in Painting, Art Students League of New York, 1926–27.
