Born June 3, 1900, Fitzgerald, Georgia.  Education:  The Citadel, 1917–19; University of Georgia, 1924; Vanderbilt University, 1924–25.

Member of the Staff, 1925–40, Nashville Banner.

Publications:  Lightwood, 1939. Contributor to Contemporary Southern Prose, 1940.
