CUTLER, HUGH CARSON. Appointed for an attempt to determine the location of the area in which corn originated; tenure, twelve months from June 1, 1942.
Born September 8, 1912, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Education: University of Wisconsin, B.A., 1935, M.A., 1936; Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, Ph.D., 1939 (Van Blarcom Scholarship, 1938–39).
Research Fellow in Botany, 1940–41, Washington University; Research Associate, 1941—, Botanical Museum, Harvard University.
