CUTTINO, GEORGE PEDDY. Appointed for a study of administrative aspects of Anglo-French relations in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries; tenure, twelve months.
Born March 9, 1914, Newnan, Georgia. Education: Swarthmore College, B.A., 1935; University of Iowa, M.A., 1936; University of Oxford, D.Phil., 1938 (Rhodes Scholar, Oriel College). Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
Instructor in History, 1939–42, University of Iowa; Lieutenant, U. S. Army, 1944—.
Publications: English Diplomatic Administration, 1259–1339, 1940. Contributor to Studies in British History presented to H. G. Plum, 1941. Articles in English Historical Review, University of Oxford Abstracts of Dissertations, Transactions of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina, Speculum.
