Born October 5, 1904, at Niles, Michigan. Education: Carnegie Institute of Technology, 1924–26; Tiffany Foundation, Summer, 1927; New York Industrial Art School, 1928–29; Rhode Island School of Design, 1929–30; Art Institute of Chicago, 1930–31.
Exhibited at the Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh, 1932. Awarded the Associated Artists Prize, Pittsburgh, 1936. Represented in the permanent collection of Brookgreen Gardens Museum.
