EDSON, CHARLES FARWELL, JR.:  Appointed for a study of the historical geography and epigraphy of ancient Macedonia; tenure, twelve months from June 1, 1936.

Born December 26, 1905, in Los Angeles, California. Education:  Stanford University, A.B., 1929; Harvard University, A.M., 1931 (Francis Parkman Fellow, 1930–31; Sheldon Travelling Fellow, 1935–36).

Assistant in History, 1931–35, Harvard University.

Publications:  Articles in Harvard Theological Review, Classical Philology, Harvard Studies in Classical Philology.
