Born February 11, 1902, in Mexico City. Education: National Preparatory School, 1914; Medical School, National University of Mexico, M.D., 1926.

Practicing physician; Assistant in Clinical Medicine, 1926 and 1930, National University of Mexico; Chief of the Federal Sanitary Commission of Coahuila, 1927–28; Chief of the Foreign Sanitary Commissions and Services of the Republic, 1929–30; Member of the Technical Advisory Division, Department of Public Health, 1930, 1931.
