Robert Feintuch is a painter who has lived and worked in New York since 1977. His paintings have been shown internationally in solo and group exhibitions at museums and galleries including the Museum für moderne zeitgenössicsche Kunst, Bolzano; the Rupertinum, Salzburg; Studio LaCitta, Verona; CRG Gallery, New York; and in the Venice Biennale. He has received Fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Bogliasco, Leube, and Rockefeller foundations. One semester a year he commutes to Bates College, where he is a senior lecturer in Art and Visual Culture.
