Ferris, Gordon Floyd: Appointed to accumulate material for the study of certain phases of the insect fauna of Mexico and Central America; tenure, twelve months from July 1, 1925.

Born January 2, 1893, at Bayard, Kansas. Education: Stanford University, A.B., 1916, M.A., 1918.

Teaching Assistant in Entomology, 1917-18, Instructor, 1918-21, Assistant Professor, 1921—, Stanford University.

Publications: Papers on entomological subjects, published notably in Entomological News, Canadian Entomologist, Science, Psyche, Philippine Journal of Science, and Stanford University Publications.
