Gassner, Mordi: Appointed for creative work in painting, abroad; tenure, twelve months from September 1, 1929.
Born May 27, 1899, in New York City. Education: New York School of Fine and Applied Art, 1916–19; Art Students League, Summer, 1918; Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences, 1917–19.
Mural Painter. Exhibited mural cartoons at the Art Center, New York City, 1928.
