Born February 5, 1891, at Wenonah, New Jersey. Education: Princeton University, A.B., 1913, M.A., 1915, Ph.D., 1920; University of Bonn, Germany, 1913–14; Fellowship of the Archaeological Institute of America, American School of Classical Studies in Athens, 1920–21.

Instructor in Greek and Archaeology, University of Michigan, 1921–22, summers, 1922 and 1923; Assistant Professor of Greek and Archaeology, University of North Carolina, 1922–23; Assistant Professor of Ancient History and Archaeology (Department of Classics), University of Cincinnati, 1923—.
