HEIDELBERGER, MICHAEL:  Appointed for studies of the molecular weight of thyroglobulin, at the University of Upsala; tenure, Summer of 1934.

Born April 29, 1888, in New York City. Education: Columbia University, B.S., 1908, A.M., 1909, Ph.D., 1911; Federal Technical Institute, Zürich, 1911–12.

Fellow, 1912–13, Assistant, 1913-15, Associate, 1915–23, Associate Member, 1923–27, Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research; Chemist, 1927–28, Mt. Sinai Hospital; Chemist to Medical Service, 1928—, Presbyterian Hospital; Associate Professor of Medicine, 1928–29, Associate Professor of Biological Chemistry, 1929—, Columbia University. Awarded the Ehrlich Silver Medal, 1933.
