JACOBSEN, LYDIK SIEGUMFELDT: Appointed for a study in several European research laboratories in the field of applied mechanics for the purpose of applying their methods and practices to model experiment investigations in the field of earthquake-resistant, flexible building construction; tenure, seven months from June 1, 1931.
Born June 17, 1897, in Denmark. Education: Stanford University, B.A., 1921, Ph.D., 1927.
