JENNY, HANS. Appointed for a quantitative study of the relation between nitrogen and organic matter content of soils and annual precipitation in the tropics; tenure, six months from September 1, 1942 (postponed).
Born February 7, 1899, in Switzerland. Education: Federal Technical Institute, Zurich, D.Sc., 1927. International Education Board Fellow, Rutgers University, 1927.
Assistant Professor of Soils, 1927–36, University of Missouri; Professor of Soil Chemistry, 1936—, University of California.
