KELLY, ISABEL TRUESDELL:  Appointed for ethnographic and archaeologic investigations in southwestern Mexico; tenure, twelve months from October 1, 1940.

Born January 5, 1906, at Santa Cruz, California. Education:  University of California, A.B., 1926, M.A., 1927, Ph.D., 1932. National Research Council Fellow, University of California, 1932–34.

Research Associate in Anthropology, 1934–36, 1939—, Lecturer, Summer, 1937, University of California; Research Associate, 1937–39, Gila Pueblo Archaeological Foundation.

Publications:  Articles in University of California Publications in American Archaeology and Ethnology, Journal of American Folklore, American Anthropologist, Ibero-Americana. Contributor to Essays in Anthropology presented to A. L. Kroeber, 1936.
