Kennedy, Clarence: Appointed to complete a study of the work of the Renaissance sculptor, Desiderio da Settignana, and of his assistants and associates, in Italy; tenure, six months from March 10, 1930.

Born September 4, 1892, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Education: University of Pennsylvania, B.S. in Architecture, 1914, M.A., 1915; Harvard University, Ph.D., 1924 (Charles Eliot Norton Fellow, 1920–21); American School of Classical Studies at Athens, 1920–21.

Assistant Professor of Art, 1916, Associate Professor, 1925—, Director of Graduate Study in Art in Europe, 1925–26, 1927–28, Smith College.

Publications: “Studies in the History and Criticism of Sculpture,” Volumes I, II and III, 1928; Volumes IV, V and VI, 1929.
