KING, RONOLD WYETH PERCIVAL: Appointed for an experimental and theoretical study of the application of the Maxwell field equations to circuit problems at ultra-high frequencies, in particular, to problems involving the electrical properties of dielectrics; tenure, twelve months from August 1, 1937.
Born September 19, 1905, at Williamstown, Massachusetts. Education: University of Rochester, A.B., 1927, M.S., 1929; University of Munich, 1928–29; Cornell University, 1929–30; University of Wisconsin, Ph.D., 1932.
