LA FOLLETTE, SUZANNE:  Appointed for certain studies of the relation of the artist to the economic and cultural development of his time, abroad; tenure, twelve months from May 10, 1935.

Born June 24, 1893, at Pullman, Washington. Education:  Washington State College, 1910–12; Trinity College, Washington, D. C., B. L., 1915.

Assistant Editor, 1919–20, Nation; Editor, 1920-24, Freeman; Editor, 1930–31, New Freeman.

Publications: Concerning Women, 1926; Art in America, 1929. Contributor to Freeman, New Freeman, Nation, New Republic, New Student, Saturday Review of Literature, American Mercury, Century, Harper’s Magazine, Scribner’s Magazine.
