Lenzen, Victor F.: Appointed for a study of the logical foundations of statistical mechanics, at Göttingen, Germany, and Zürich, Switzerland; tenure, twelve months from August 1, 1927.

Born December 14, 1890, at San José, California. Education: University of California, B.S., 1913; Harvard University, graduate student in philosophy, 1913–16, Ph.D., 1916; Sheldon Traveling Fellow in England and France, 1916–17; University of California, graduate student in physics and mathematics, 1919–21.

Assistant in Philosophy, 1917–18, Harvard University; Assistant and Teaching Fellow in Physics, 1918–21, Instructor, 1921–25, Assistant Professor, 1925—, University of California.
