Pamela Lins is a sculptor. She moved to New York from the Midwest in 1986, and has been living and working in Brooklyn for nearly twenty years. During those years, she earned an M.F.A. from Hunter College, held various jobs and teaching positions, and showed at a variety of venues, both locally and internationally. She received a Pollack/Krasner award in 1991 and a Fellowship in visual arts from the Howard Foundation in 2008.
Ms. Lins has also received a number of artist residencies: at the MacDowell Colony (1992); at Yaddo (1996, 2003); from the Delphina Projects, in London (2001); and from the Farpath Foundation, in Dijon, France (2007).
She is an adjunct professor at Cooper Union School of Art in New York City.
