Chris Kraus is the author of four novels and two books of art and cultural criticism, including I Love Dick, Torpor, Summer of Hate and Where Art Belongs. Writing for the New Yorker, Leslie Jamison described her fiction/non-fiction work as presenting “a bright map of presence … an uncannily coherent landscape, a kind of hyperintellectual, hypersexual, digital-era Yoknapatawpha that moves back and forth across the Atlantic, across the Mexican border, across the former Soviet bloc.”
