Gilbert, Earl C.: Appointed for an experimental study of certain reactions of hydrazine, principally with Professor J. N. Brönsted, at the Polytechnic Institute, Copenhagen, Denmark; tenure, twelve months from September 1, 1928.

Born February 2, 1895, at Palmyra, Ohio. Education: Hiram College, B.S., 1916, M.S., 1917; University of Chicago, Ph.D., 1922; research in chemistry, University of Chicago, summer, 1925.

Instructor in Chemistry, Oregon State College, 1917–21; Chemical Warfare Service, 1918; Instructor in Chemistry, University of Oregon, Summer Session, 1919; Assistant in Chemistry, University of Chicago, 1921–22; Assistant Professor of Chemistry, 1922–24, Associate Professor, 1924—, Oregon State College.
