Trewartha, Glenn Thomas: Appointed for detailed geographic studies of certain selected type areas in Japan and China, and for reconnaissance surveys of a more general nature in a limited number of larger regions; tenure, twelve months from September 1, 1926.

Born November 22, 1896, at Hazel Green, Wisconsin. Education: Platteville State Normal School, 1914–17; University of Wisconsin, Ph.B., 1920; University of Chicago, Summer 1921; Harvard University, M.A., 1922; University of Wisconsin, Ph.D., 1924.
