GREEN, JEROME BOLEY:  Appointed to make studies in the effect of magnetic fields on the emission of spectrum lines, chiefly at the University of Tübingen; tenure, six months from April 1, 1931.

Born December 28, 1898, in New York City. Education:  College of the City of New York, B.S., 1918; University of Wisconsin, M.S., 1921, Ph.D., 1925. National Research Fellow, Harvard University, 1925–27.

Assistant in Physics, 1919–24, Instructor, 1924–25, University of Wisconsin; Instructor in Physics, 1927—, Ohio State University.
