ELGUETA GUERIN, MANUEL:  Appointed for studies in theoretical genetics and in the application of genetics to the improvement of plants, at the University of California and Cornell University; tenure, twelve months from August 1, 1931.

Born November 3, 1902, at Talca, Chile. Education:  National Institute, Bachiller, 1918; Agricultural Institute, Agricultural Engineer, 1922.
