Turner, Raymond: Appointed for creative work in sculpture, principally in Paris; tenure, twelve months from May 1, 1928.

Born May 25, 1902, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Education: Milwaukee Art Institute, 1915; Wisconsin State Normal School, Art Department, 1916; Cooper Union, New York, 1923–24; Layton School of Art, Milwaukee, 1924–25; Beaux Arts Institute of Design, New York, 1926 and 1927.

Exhibited at American Painters’ and Sculptors’ Salon at Chicago Art Institute, 1926; Michigan Artists’ Show at Detroit Art Institute, 1927 (Sculpture Prize).
