Packard, Sidney Raymond:  Appointed to complete the preparation of a volume to be entitled “Norman Institutions in Transition, 1189–1226”; research principally in libraries and archives in Paris and in Normandy; tenure, twelve months from September 1, 1929.

Born September 7, 1893, at Brockton, Massachusetts. Education:  Amherst College, A. B., 1915 (Roswell Dwight Hitchcock Fellow, 1915–16); Harvard University, A. M., 1916, Ph. D., 1921 (University Scholarship, 1915–16; Bayard Cutting Travelling Fellowship, 1919–20).
