Appointed on the basis of prior achievement and exceptional promise, the successful candidates were chosen from a group of almost 3,000 applicants. |
Latin America and Caribbean Guggenheim Fellowship Awards, 2011The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation has awarded thirty Fellowships to a diverse group of artists, scholars, and scientists from Latin America and the Caribbean. Chosen from almost 500 applicants, this year’s new Fellows are from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru. |
