COBAS, AMADOR.  Appointed for a study of the correlation of high energy cosmic rays and atmospheric neutrons; tenure, twelve months from September 15, 1942 (postponed to a date to be determined).

Born August 2, 1910, Juncos, Puerto Rico.  Education:  University of Puerto Rico, B.A., 1931; University of Paris, 1932–33; Columbia University, M.A., 1940.

Assistant Instructor in Physics, 1936–37, Instructor in Physics, 1937–39, Assistant Professor in Physics, 1939—, University of Puerto Rico; Assistant in Physics, 1941–42, Lecturer in Physics, 1942, Columbia University (on leave from the University of Puerto Rico).
