Brenner, Anita:  Appointed to make a study of pre-Spanish American Art in the southern countries of the North American continent, with special attention to Aztec Art; tenure, twelve months from June 15, 1930.

Born August 13, 1905, at Aguascalientes, Mexico. Education: Lady of the Lake College, San Antonio, 1922; University of Texas, 1922–23; National University of Mexico, 1923–25; Columbia University, 1925, 1927–30.

Field work in anthropology in connection with the National Museum, Mexico City; appointed to collect and study documents and examples of Mexican art, for the National University of Mexico, 1926–27; on staff of The Nation, 1928–29, in charge of Latin American topics.
