McCLINTOCK, BARBARA: Appointed for cytogenetic researches in the field of the mechanism of heredity, at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institut für Biologie, Berlin; tenure, twelve months from November 1, 1933.

Born June 16, 1902, at Hartford, Connecticut. Education: Cornell University, B.S., 1923, M.A., 1925, Ph.D., 1927. National Research Fellow, University of Missouri and California Institute of Technology, 1931–33.

Assistant in Botany, 1924–27, Instructor in Botany, 1927–31, Cornell University.
