GRANER, EDGARD DO AMARAL:  Appointed for studies of the cytogenetics of corn and tobacco; tenure, twelve months from December 1, 1941.

Born July 30, 1909, at São Paulo, Brazil.  Education:  University of São Paulo, Agricultural Engineer, 1933.

Member of the Technical Service, 1933, Under-assistant in the Botanical Garden, 1934, Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture; Lecturer in Cytology and Genetics, 1935—, First Assistant of the Department of Genetics, 1940—, “Luiz de Queiroz” School of Agriculture; Technical Assistant, 1939, Institute of Agronomy of the State of São Paulo.
