Mack, Edward, Jr.:  Appointed to make a theoretical study of the stability of simple organic molecules, chiefly in Munich; tenure, six months from April 6, 1929.

Born May 10, 1893, at Goldsboro, North Carolina. Education: Centre College, Kentucky, 1909–11; Princeton University, A. B., 1913, M. A., 1914, Ph. D., 1916.

Instructor in Chemistry, 1915–17, West Virginia University; Assistant Professor, 1919–25, Professor of Physical Chemistry, 1925—, Ohio State University. Member of the National Research Council (Chemistry and Chemical Technology Section).
