Elizabeth Olds

Olds, Elizabeth: Appointed for certain studies, and creative work in portraiture, the plan to include studying abroad, both the old masters in painting and the modern, and to bring back a representative showing of the results of these studies; tenure, twelve months from October 1, 1926.

Born December 10, 1897, at Minneapolis, Minnesota. Education: University of Minnesota, 1915–17; Minneapolis Society and School of Fine and Applied Art (scholarships, 1919–20), 1917–20; Art Students’ League of New York (scholarship), 1920–21.

Assistant to Instructor in Painting, Minneapolis School of Art, 1920; organized and managed private class in painting and drawing under the instruction of Mr. George Luks, New York, 1924–25; portrait painter.
